The international Shinkyokushinkai karate tournament among children, teenagers and girls "ZHETISU CUP" was held in Taldykorgan.

About 350 karatekas from the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and 2 cities and 9 regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competition.

The opening ceremony of the competition was attended by the deputy akim of the Zhetysu district Marlen Kapashuly Kolbaev, the president of the republican federation of shinkyokushinkai Bolat Bakhtayev and other guests.

This is the fourth time such a large-scale tournament is being held in Taldykorgan!

Following the competition, our country's karatekas took first place in the overall team ranking!

Athletes from Kyrgyzstan took 2nd place, and young karatekas from Tajikistan took 3rd place!
