From June 28 to 29, 2025, in Astana, in the Beeline Arena shopping mall, the international tournament "ASTANA CUP 2025" in Shinkyokushinkai karate among children, youth, juniors, youth and veterans in the kumite discipline and veterans in the kata discipline was held, with the support of the Astana Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the NGO "Shinkyokushinkai Karate Federation" of Astana and the "Karate Center" of Astana.
More than 540 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia took part in this tournament. Athletes from 11 regions and 3 cities of republican significance (Karaganda region, Kostanay region, Atyrau region, West Kazakhstan region, Zhambyl region, Zhetysu region, Ulytau region, Akmola region, Mangistau region, Abay region, North Kazakhstan region, Astana, Shymkent, Almaty) will defend the honor of Kazakhstan. Representatives of international organizations (WKO, IKO 1, IFK, KWF) also took part.
Honorary guests: Kembu Iriki (Japan), champion of the Absolute World Championship. Mihiro Suzuki (Japan), champion of the Absolute and Weight World Championship.
