On May 9-10, 2025, the World Karate Championship in the Kyokushinkai discipline was held in Leipzig, Germany, with 40 countries and more than 700 participants taking part.

At this big event, the Shinkyokushinkai Karate Team of Kazakhstan took 1st place overall, showing an excellent result.
