Kyokushinkai World Cup in Kamchia

On July 8, 2025, as part of the XIX International Summer Martial Arts Tournament in Kamchia, the next prestigious stage of the Kyokushinkai World Cup took place.


A total of 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal - this is the result of the Shinkyokushinkai karate team at the World Cup among juniors, girls and youth aged 14 to 21. The fights took place simultaneously on three separate tatami, 345 participants from 27 countries competed for medals, 12 athletes from the Shinkyokushinkai karate team.


Kasymova Zhaniya and Osipenko Alina in the youth category (18-21 years old) pleased with gold medals. Toktabek Nurdos and Kadyrbekova Naira in the youth category (16-17 years old) won silver medals and Kanat Rasul won a bronze medal in the junior category (15-15 years old).


The Kazakhstan team (WKO, KAN, KWF) took first place in the overall standings, winning a total of 23 medals, including 6 gold. Bulgaria took second place with 16 medals, and Poland took third place with 4 medals. A total of 66 Kazakhstani athletes took part in the World Cup in 2025. The tournament brought together fighters from all over the world - from Armenia, Germany, Norway and Great Britain to participants from Iran, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile, who traveled thousands of kilometers to take part in the competition.

The World Cup in Martial Arts is held annually during the International Summer Camp of Martial Arts in Kamchia, in which talented karatekas from all over the world take part.
